We and our friend group had a wonderful long weekend at Casa Refugio. The beds were comfortable, showers hot, kitchen well equipped. It was great to hang out at the pool, sit on the many cozy terraces and prepare some wonderful meals in the kitchen. We’d gladly stay again.

Elizabeth's home was wonderful. It was quiet and secluded but only a few minutes from amenities. There was plenty to do on the property and it was in perfect condition. You can tell that she takes pride in providing a great experience.

Even greater than the pictures! We had a large group and felt the layout and space was more than comfortable! Peaceful, private and beautiful property inside and out. Would definitely rate again!

Great host! Elizabeth was extremely responsive and checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was perfect. The property was very private and looked exactly like the photos. All the essentials were provided and even more! We highly recommend staying here.

Amazing stay at Elizabeths home! Had a great time at the pool and cooking it up in the kitchen. Would highly recommend this place if youre looking for somewhere quiet, secluded and want to spend everyday at the pool! 100% would stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house and landscaping were beautiful. The house was exactly as pictured. The location was perfect, close to restaurants and many fun activities. The host was responsive and accommodating of all of our needs and we had a great experience.

My family does an annual Hill Country trip and we all agreed this was our favorite stay yet. Absolutely LOVED Elizabeth’s property and felt like every need was catered to. On top of the beautiful home, we had a massive storm roll through Austin and Elizabeth made a few concessions for check in without batting an eye. What an incredible host.

Elizabeth responded to messages very quickly. She was always making sure that we had what we needed and offered to replenish some basic staples if we needed it while we were there. great hostess!!
We loved the space!! So peaceful, but close to everything within 10-15 min drive.

Stayed with a group of 7 friends and had an amazing time at Casa Refugio. One of the best airbnb group visits we’ve ever had so grateful for Elizabeth’s beautiful home and responsiveness to our questions! The home is actually even better than the photos show. Every room is spacious and beautiful and we had everything we needed. It was brutally hot the days we were in driftwood, but the home was always cool, the AC was incredible, and there was a light breeze the whole time. Also did some bird watching (painted buntings! Summer tanagers!) Highly recommend this home for a hill country experience.

Casa Refugio was a 5/5 Airbnb experience. The property is private yet super close to nearby attractions (e.g., breweries, distilleries, nature), and the sleeping arrangements + common spaces were comfortable for our group of 12. We particularly loved how the property offered several distinct sections for hanging out, with numerous activities to enjoy (like ping pong, a fire pit and grill, bocce ball, hot tub and pool, board games).
Elizabeth was also such a helpful and professional host - she provided clear instructions ahead of time and was a great communicator throughout our entire stay.
I definitely recommend Casa Refugio to others and would stay here again in the future!
